Our nap is put onto a standard 1-1/2in phenolic core with a 2-part epoxy to prevent delamination. The phenolic core is very porous which allows the epoxy to hold the nap. Especially made for the commercial roofer applying adhesive coatings. We tested the many imports and they could not do the job. We also found that the poly cores even made in the USA would not as good as the phenolic for holding the nap.
