The Pultrusion process is utilized to manufacture tubing for extension poles. Space-age composite resins saturate the reinforcement fibers then heat and pressure are applied to activate the catalyst in the resin mix and lock the fibers together. The resulting composite tube has a fiber orientation designed to maximize tensile and flexural properties. The process produces excellent rigidity with superior transverse and burst strengths.
